Control Button Functions:
• The Flame Mode button provides six dynamic effects and one static dimming mode
• The Speed (On/Off) button provides ten speed levels for dynamic modes. In the static dimming mode this button provides dimming in 10 steps, 10% - 95% Ref. This button is also used to turn the unit off when it is held longer than 3 seconds.
• The DIM button is used to set the control to static dimming mode while in any dynamic mode. Pressing the mode button starts the dynamic mode again.
Notes:
1) Disconnect batteries when not in use to preserve battery life. The control retains the last settings when power to the unit is cycled On and Off.
2) External power supplies must be 9- or 12-volts DC. The power connector needs to be compatible with the 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC barrel connector with a positive center connection.
3) Operating power of the 3 lights at 12-volts DC is 90ma nominal current, 1.1 watts nominal; at 9-volts 66ma nominal, 0.6 watts nominal.
4) When operated from a new 9V alkaline battery, the operating time can be expected to be about 3 hours typical.
5) The 4-pin connector cable to flicker control mating area can be wrapped with electrical or gaffers’ tape to secure the cable to the controller.
