The CFS-TC1-KIT1 special effects flame lighting kit includes a 24-LED flex strip with a 12-inch active illuminated area. The strip has a nominal width of 5/8 inch and adhesive backing. The kit also includes the TCF-02 (Three Channel Flame) control. The control triple modulates the three-channel LED strip, as the lighting strip uses three groups of 8 LEDs configured into three channels for a total of 24 LEDs. The control modulates the flicker patterns of the three channels slightly differently, providing shadow movement of the cast light for realistic flame simulation. The kit also includes a 9-Volt battery snap clip and an 8 AA cell battery holder with a mating connection for the 9-Volt snap clip. This allows the kit to operate directly from a 9 Volt alkaline battery or from 8 AA alkaline cells by snapping the battery holder to the 9 Volt clip.

Technical Details: The 1,800 Kelvin ultra-warm LED candle flame light strip with a nominal 77 CRI (Color Rendering Index) operates at 9 to 12 volts DC and uses 1.7 to 4 watts. The strip has a female header socket on each end for mating with a standard 4-pin connector in the same configuration as used with RGB LED lighting strips. The TCF-02 has a built-in 4-pin male cable. The LED strip has a nominal length of 12.5 inches. In contrast, the LED flex strip, control, and battery holder assembly have a nominal length of 36 inches.

Applications: Ideal for prop making, theatrical scenery, escape rooms, filmmaking, and video production. This is a plug-and-play light kit, and the short LED strips are easily adaptable for fake fireplaces and campfire props.
