The FEC1 (Flicker Effects Control) functions are as follows:
The Light button is used to set the control to static dimming mode while in any dynamic mode, pressing the mode button starts the dynamic mode again.
The Speed (On/Off) button provides ten speed levels for dynamic modes. In the static dimming mode this button provides dimming in 12 steps, 10% - 95%. This button is also used to turn the unit off when it is held longer than 3 seconds Ref.
The Mode button provides six dynamic effects and the Static dimming mode.
Notes:
The control retains the last settings when turned off.
If used for video, film, or photography projects, check for image banding lines as the flicker control switching rate may or may not be compatible. Banding lines can result from the FPS (Frames Per Second) or other aspects of the camera system or settings used. The LED strip can be used without the FEC1 flicker effects control for continuous fill light applications.
External power supplies must be 12 volts DC. The power connector needs to be compatible with the 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC barrel connector with a positive center connection.
